Ampliamento edificio "Kerotris" - S.Quirico (GE - Italy)
Progetto architettonico per l'ampliamento volumetrico dell'edificio - restauro dell'edificio esistente
Con la costruzione del nuovo volume edilizio in adiacenza all'edificio esistente, con destinazione ad uso uffici, si è creata una nuova zona ingresso coperta con una struttura in metallo e le pareti verticali in vetro.
L’intervento ha comportato la creazione di una struttura in acciaio addossata all'edificio esistente - da una parte - ed "incastrata" sulla base di una muratura preesistente dall'altra, prospiciente alla strada.
La "chiusura" del volume edilizio è stata fatta con una pensilina metallica a "scatola" e pareti verticali in cristallo temprato con caratteristiche di alta resistenza.
Internamente sono posizionate due scale - una per l'ingresso agli uffici - una per la discesa ai locali seminterrati, ed una zona attesa arredata.
Sono state restaurate anche le facciate e le coperture dell'edificio preesistente, queste ultime dotate di isolamento termico adeguato alla normativa vigente.

Architectural design for volumetric expansion of the building - renovation of the existing building
With the construction of the new building volume adjacent to the existing building, office building, you created a new entrance area with a metal cover and vertical glass walls.
The intervention resulted in the creation of a steel structure adjacent to the existing building -on one hand-and "stuck" on the basis of an existing masonry on the other, facing the street.
The "closing" of the building volume was made with a steel structure "box" and vertical walls in tempered glass with characteristics of high resistance.
Internally they are placed two steps - one for the entrance to offices - one for the descent to the basements, and a waiting area.
Have been restored facades and roofs of the existing building, the latter equipped with thermal insulation.
